The peristaltic pump is a machine that applies the principle of peristalsis, based on which a constriction that runs along the tube, thanks to the elasticity of the same, generates a pressure variation. The fundamental component of the pump is therefore the tube which must resist crushing for as long as possible, deforming itself in an elastic and not plastic way. It is precisely the elasticity that allows the pipe to reacquire the original dimensions and therefore guarantee the prevalence to the fluid and the suction capacity.
